Ingredients
- Clarified Butter / Ghee - 2 Tbsp
- Asetoefida / Hing - 1/4 Tsp
- Cumin / Jeera Seeds- 1 Tsp
- Dry Red Chillies / Sukhi Lal Mirch - 2
- Fresh Chopped Fenugreek / Methi Leaves - 2 Cups
- Dry Fenugreek Leaves / Kasori Methi - 3 Tbsp
- Coriander / Dhaniya Powder - 1 Tbsp
- Red Chilli / Lal MirchPowder - 1/2 Tsp
- Turmeric / Haldi - 1/2 Tsp
- Salt - 1 Tsp
- Dry Mango / Aamchur Powder - 3/4 Tsp
- Raw Potatoes / Aloo - 2
Instructions
- Heat Oil on medium.
- Add Hing, Cumin and Dry Red Chillies in heated oil and mix.
- Add Fresh Methi and Kasori Methi once the cumin starts to spatter.
- Add Coriander Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Haldi, Salt and Aamchur and mix everything.
- Cook for a minute.
- Add Potatoes and mix.
- Turn the flame to low and cover the pan with lid.
- Cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until the potatoes are fully cooked.
- Remove the lid and stir in between. Repeat this 2 -3 times and keep checking if the potatoes are cooked. This is to ensure that the dish does not burn. Turn the flame off once the potatoes are cooked.
- Serve with Phulkas or Plain Parathas.
