    Ingredients

    For Bhallas

    • Urad Dal - 2 Cups
    • Water - 1/2 Cup
    • Asetoefida / Hing - 1/2 Tsp
    • Salt - 1 Tsp
    • Ginger Green Chilli Paste - 1 Tbsp
    • Oil to fry

    For Yogurt

    • Yogurt - 2 Cups
    • Water - 1/2 Cup
    • Black Salt - 1/2 Tsp
    • Sugar - 1/2 Tsp

    For 1 Papri Chaat

    • Papris dipped in yogurt - 6 pieces
    • Boiled Potatoes - 1 Tbsp
    • Boiled Channa - 1 Tbsp
    • Yogurt - 8 Tbsp
    • Black Salt - 1/2 Tsp
    • Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 Tsp
    • Roasted Cumin Powder - 1/2 Tsp
    • Sweet Tamarind Chutney - 1 Tbsp
    • Coriander Chutney - 1 Tbsp
    • Pomegranate Seeds - 1 Tsp
    • Fresh Coriander - 1 Tsp
    • Nylon Sev - 1 Tsp
    • Jillian Ginger - 3 - 4 pieces
    • Jillian Beet Root - 3 - 4 pieces

    Instructions

    For Bhallas

    1. Soak Urad Dal for 6 to 8 hours.
    2. Add water and grind into fine paste.
    3. Add Hing, Salt and Ginger and Green Chilli Paste to the paste and mix well.
    4. Heat Oil to 350 F.
    5. Take small ball size of this mix and leave in oil.
    6. Deep fry on medium until golden brown.
    7. Soak in cold water for 15 minutes.

    For Papri Chaat

    1. Take yogurt in a bowl.
    2. Add Water, Black Salt and Sugar. Whisk to blend everything well.
    3. Dip Papris in this yogurt for 20 seconds. Dont leave it for too long or else the papris will get soggy.

    For Chaat

    1. Make a bed of soaked Papris.
    2. Crush a Bhalla on it.
    3. Add two layers of yogurt.
    4. Add some boiled Potatoes.
    5. Add some boiled Channa.
    6. Add Black Salt, Red Chilli Powder and Roasted Cumin Powder.
    7. Add Sweet Tamarind Chutney and Coriander Chutney.
    8. Repeat the layers of Yogurt, Black Salt, Red Chilli Powder, Roasted Cumin Powder, Sweet Tamarind Chutney and Coriander Chutney.
    9. Add few Pomegranate Seeds, Fresh Coriander and Nylon Sev
    10. Finally top it with Ginger and Beet Root.
    11. Enjoy this delicious mouth watering and filling snack any time!
