How to make Bharwan Bhindi Recipe Dhaba Style !!

Ingredients
For Masala Stuffing

Bhindi / Okra - 500 gms

Coriander / Dhaniya Powder - 2 Tbsp
-
Salt - 2 Tsp
-
Cumin / Jeera Powder - 1 Tsp
-
Amchur / Dry Mango Powder - 1 Tsp
-
Haldi / Turmeric Powder - 1 Tsp
-
Red Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp
-
Crushed Saunf / Fennel Seeds - 2 Tsp
For Cooking
-
Mustard Oil - 2 Tbsp
-
Onion - 2 Cups
Chopped

Green Chillies - 4
Instructions
Masala
-
In a Bowl add all dry spices and mix well.
Stuffing
-
Wash and Dry bhindi completely. Make sure there is no water at all and bhindi is completely dry.

Pat with Paper towel to make sure.

Cut the Edges off the Bhindi.

Now Slit Bhindi Vertically. Make sure you DO NOT cut it in Half.

Now add the masala inside the Bhindi and keep it aside.

Do this for all the Bhindi.

Save 1/2 Tbsp of masala to add while cooking the Bhindi.
Cooking

In a pan take mustard oil on medium heat.

Now add Onions and Green Chillies to it.

Cook for 1 minute and then add the stuffed Bhindi.

Mix gently.

Turn the Heat to low and Cover with Lid.
-
Let it cook for about 20 minutes. Stir in between.

Now Remove the Lid, add 1/2 Tbsp of Stuffing masala prepared earlier.

Mix Gently and Cover with Lid again.

Cook till Bhindi is well done.

Serve with Chapati's
