Masala Grilled Cheese Sandwich – Dhaba Style !!

How to make Masala Grilled Cheese Sandwich – Grilled cheese sandwich is a very popular snack and kids favorite as well. This recipe is Dhaba Style of making the Masala grilled cheese sandwich on a tawa / pan.






 

Masala Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients

  • Onions - 1/4 Cups
  • Red Capsicum / Bell Peppers - 1/4 Cup
  • Green Capsicum / Bell Peppers - 1/4 Cup
  • Salt - 2 Pinch
  • Black Pepper - 2 Pinch
  • Red Chilli Powder - 2 Pinch
  • Chaat Masala - 2 Pinch
  • Butter - 2 Tbsp
  • Mozzarella Cheese - 6 Tbsp
  • Bread Slices - 4 Slices

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan on medium heat and add butter.
  2. Add Onions, Red Capsicum and Green Capsicum and saute for 3 minutes.
  3. Add Salt, Black Pepper, Red Pepper and Chaat Masala. Saute for 2 to 3 more minutes then keep the it aside.
  4. Heat the same pan on low and add butter, once the butter starts to melt put a bread slice on it and move the bread around so the bread absorbs all the butter.
  5. Top the Bread on pan with 3 tbsp Mozzarella Cheese.
  6. Add the onion and pepper mix on the bread slice.
  7. Cover it with another slice of bread.
  8. Add butter on the top bread slice and flip. Move the sanwich around on the pan so that the butter spreads evenly.
  9. Cook on low for few minutes until light golden brown.
  10. Flip and cook the other side as well until light golden brown.
  11. Cut diagonally and Serve!!
