Paneer Jalfrezi | Quick and Tasty – Dhaba Style !!

Ingredients

  • Oil - 2 Tbsp
  • Cumin / Jeera - 1 Tsp
  • Onion - 1 Medium Sliced
  • Garlic - 5 Cloves Sliced
  • Ginger - 2 Inch Julienned
  • Capsicum / Green Pepper - 1 Medium Sliced
  • Green Chillies - 2-3 Chopped
  • Tomatoes - 2 Medium Deseeded and Sliced
  • Tomato Grinded - 4
  • Turmeric / Haldi - 1/4 tsp
  • Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - 2 Tsp
  • Coriander / Dhaniya Powder - 1 Tsp
  • Salt - 2 Tsp
  • Ketchup / Tomato Sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • Water - 1 Cup
  • Garam Masala - 1.5 Tsp
  • Paneer - 400 Gm
  • Cilantro - 2 Tbsp

Instructions

  1. In a Pan on Medium High Heat add Oil.
  2. Once oil is heated add Cumin.
  3. When Cumin starts to crackle add Onions.
  4. Cook onions till Translucent.
  5. Add Ginger and Garlic. Cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Add Capsicum and Green Chillies. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Add Sliced Tomatoes and Cook for 1 minute.
  8. Now add the Pureed / Grinded Tomato and cook for 3 minutes.
  9. Now add Turmeric, Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder , Salt and Ketchup.
  10. Mix well and Cook for 1 minute.
  11. Now add Water , Mix and Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  12. Add Garam Masala and Mix well.
  13. Now add Paneer and Mix it all well together. Cook till Gravy Thickens.
  14. Add Cilantro.
