    Ingredients

    Korma Paste

    • Ghee - 2 Tbsp
    • Cinnamon / DalChini - 1/2 inch stick
    • Bay Leaf / Tej Patta - 2
    • Poppy Seeds / khus khus - 2 Tsp
    • Almonds / Badam - 2 Tbsp Slivered
    • Cashews / Kaju - 12
    • Onions - 2 Cups Chopped
    • Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 Tbsp
    • Tomatoes - 2 Cups
    • Salt - 1 Tsp

    Korma Gravy

    • Butter or Ghee - 2 Tbsp
    • Red Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp
    • Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - 2 Tsp
    • Turmeric / Haldi - 2 Tsp
    • Black Pepper Powder - 1/2 Tsp
    • Cardamom / Elaichi Seed Powder - 1/4 Tsp
    • Cumin / Jeera Powder - 4 Tsp
    • Coriander / Dhaniya Powder - 2 Tsp
    • Yogurt + Water - 2 Tbsp Yougurt + 4 Tbsp Water
    • Water - 1 Cup
    • Salt - 1 Tsp
    • Garam Masala - 1 Tsp
    • Paneer - 400 gm

    Instructions

    Korma Paste

    1. In a Pan on medium heat add Ghee.
    2. Once the ghee is heated add Cinnamon, Bay Leaves , Poppy Seeds, Almonds and Cahsews.
    3. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
    4. Now add Onions. Cook till Onions turn translucent.
    5. Once the onions turn translucent Add Ginger Garlic Paste.
    6. Cook till the raw aroma or ginger disappears.
    7. Add Tomatoes and Salt. Cook for 6 to 7 minutes.
    8. Turn off the flame and let the mixture cool.
    9. Once its cool , add it to a mixer grinder and make a smooth paste.

    Korma Gravy

    1. In the same pan on medium heat now take Butter or Ghee.
    2. Add the fine grinded paste and mix well.
    3. Now add all the dry spices. Red Chilli Powder, Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, Black Pepper Powder , Cardamom seed Powder, Cumin Powder and Coriander Powder.
    4. Mix very well.
    5. Now turn the flame to low. Cover the pan with a lid and Cook for about 3 minutes.
    6. Remove the Lid and stir the mixture.
    7. Now add Yogurt+water mix, Water and Salt. Mix well.
    8. Cover the pan with the lid again and cook for 3 minutes.
    9. Add Garam Masala , Honey and Paneer.
    10. Cover with lid and cook for 3 more minutes.
    11. Serve Hot with Rice or Naan Bread.
