Ingredients
- Soya Granules - 2 Cups
- Water - 6 Cups
- Boiled Potatoes - 2 to 3 Medium
- Green Peas - 1/2 Cup
- Salt - 1.25 Tsp
- Dhaniya / Coriander Powder - 1 Tsp
- Garam Masala Powder - 1 Tsp
- Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 Tsp
- Chaat Masala Powder - 1/2 Tsp
- Ginger + Garlic + Green Chillies Paste - 3 Tsp
- Besan / Gram Flour - 3 Tbsp
- Bread Crumbs - As Needed
- Oil to Fry
Instructions
Boil Soya
- In a pan add water and bring it to boil.
- Add Soya granules and boil till they are soft.
- Now Remove them in a Strainer and rinse with fresh water.
- Grab Boiled soya with one hand and squeeze all the excess water from it.
- Keep the squeezed Soya on side.
Prepare Mix
- In a Bowl add Boiled Potatoes.
- Mash them till they are smooth.
- Add Green Beans and Mash some more.
- Add Boiled soya granules, Salt, Coriander Powder, Garam Masala, Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, Chaat Masala and Ginger+Garlic+Green Chilli Paste.
- Mix all the ingredients well.
- Now Add Besan and Mix Well Again.
- Take about 2 - 3 Tbsp of the mixture between your Palm and make it into a Patty / Tikki shape.
- Now in a Bowl, take some bread crumbs and Roll the patty in the bread crumbs so its completely covered.
Frying
- In a shallow Pan take some oil to Shallow fry. Bring it to medium heat.
- Once the Oil is heated place 4 to 5 Patty in the oil carefully.
- Cook them for about 2 minutes then flip them to cook from the other side.
- Cook till both sides are Golden Brown.
- When Serving Add some Chaat Masala , Onions and Cilantro.
- Serve with Dhaba Style Dhaniya Chutney.
